About Me

Hi there, I'm Damien "Damo" Ferraz of DJFERRAZ Photography and since I was young I have been interested in capturing memories in photographs, starting with my first camera in the late 1980's. Now more than 20 years later, I'm still finding the joy of capturing that special moment to remember.

Originally starting off at car shows and motorsport events with automotive photography over 15 years ago, I have also developed a keen interest in working with other people to develop my group event and individual portrait style photography. I am a very laid back and social individual, and I feel this helps bring out the best emotions when it comes to putting people in front of my camera lense.

I do not approach my photography as “job”, I do not see it as “work”. I simply enjoy the art and creativity of photography. If you take it too seriously, then you lose the fun of photography, and having fun with a camera is the main reason I got into photography. I have a professional manner, but not in a serious way.

What you see in my photographs is what I see in my eyes. There’s no over the top editing or fake image trickery. When you work with me, what you get in your photographs is a true representation of your memories ready to be shared with friends and family as if they were there.
